The Kiara Rice World Jollof Fest wrapped up in style at the Ikeja City Mall last weekend as Adefunke Oluwasuji from Akure, was crowned Nigeria’s Jollof Champion, taking home a share of ₦2 million in cash.
The grand finale brought together food lovers, influencers, and celebrities in a dazzling celebration of World Jollof Day. Guests enjoyed live cooking competitions, music, entertainment, and free tastings of Kiara Rice’s premium quality brands.
Star power lit up the event as favorite food influencers Enioluwa and Omoyecooks joined the judging panel, alongside culinary experts. They watched as city champions from Onitsha, Owerri, Port Harcourt, Ughelli, Warri, Benin, and Akure went head-to-head in the ultimate Jollof showdown.
At the end of the fierce cook-off, it was Adefunke Oluwasuji whose plate stood out, securing the crown and the title of “Jollof Champion”.
Speaking after the event, Chinaza Ahamefula, Brand Manager at Kiara Rice Mills, said:
