This was contained in a statement released few minutes ago on the Twitter handle of Presidency about nine minutes ago.
“President @MBuhari met with Senate President @bukolasaraki and Speaker House of Reps @YakubDogara this morning at the State House, on the Security situation in Plateau State.
@AsoRock & @nassnigeria working together to end the killings,restore peace and ensure justice”
The meeting which held behind closed was said to have been at the instance of the Principal officers of the National Assembly.
Although details of the meeting is yet to be made public, BusinesDay Villa sources said it is part of Presidency and National Assembly’s joint efforts to deal with the increasing rates of herdsmen killings across the country.
