IESL Group has announced a newly incorporated and approved full-fledged subsidiary by the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC), IESL Oilfield Development Services Limited (ODSL), as a strategic move to expand the scope of its former Oilfield Supply and Services (OSS) Business Unit.
The new company expands the scope of the former OSS Business Unit to include Subsurface Field Development, Well Engineering and Drilling Services, in addition to established offerings in procurement and supply chain management, global maintenance contracts, equipment installation, commissioning and start-Up support services. It will operate across the entire Oil and Gas industry value-chain, supporting exploration, development and production activities, refineries, oil and gas infrastructure development, and industrial plants.
The creation of the subsidiary marks a significant milestone in IESL’s growth and portfolio diversification strategy.
The IESL Board of Directors approved the appointment of Nnenna Emenyonu as the pioneer managing director and chief executive officer (MD/CEO). She holds an MBA from the University of Plymouth Business School, UK, and has academic backgrounds in Accounting, Finance, and Medicine, with advanced professional training in Strategy, Digital Transformation, and Petroleum Project Economics.
Emenyonu, a former IESL staff member, gained leadership experience in senior roles at Falcon Corporation, HealthPlus, mPharma, and Konga Health, where she served as Senior Vice President leading nationwide operations. She has been invited to rejoin IESL Group to lead a multidisciplinary team of field engineers, geoscientists, and supply chain management professionals, driving the subsidiary to achieve its mandate and deliver sustainable value to the Group.
