Budding actor, Onyinye Okafor, has denied the viral news, which alleged that she stole a towel from a hotel room in Asaba.
Onyinye, who is more popular in Asabawood, an arm of Nollywood in Asaba Delta State, denied the accusation and demanded the blog who broke the news to come up with evidence.
In a video she posted on her Instagram page, the actress said the news had cost her quite a lot and it was time she put a stop to it.

She said, “I am a proud mother of four and a blessed soul. I am the one God changed her story. People never believed. Since God has changed my story and blessed me, a lot of things have been happening. There are some things I see and I take off my eyes because I wouldn’t want to be talking trash. The main reason I remove my eyes is because of my children. But sometimes, when things happen and you keep quiet for too long, it will look as if you are a fool or you don’t have sense of you cannot talk. First of all, I read Mass Communications in school and I came out with a very good grade. I am brilliant and intelligent. I know the ethics of blogging. I know how to do more things in communication because I am intelligent, I read well.
“Some time ago, a retarded and God forsaken blogger made a post and wrote my name with her full chest and said that one hotel called her and said I stole towel from their hotel. Your cohort wrote the same thing but didn’t call my name. I kept quiet for a while but the matter just came up again today. You cannot in your stupid head come up with such story. I don’t know when and where that I went and stole a towel. The story went so far. This story affected me back then. My boss saw the story and wanted me to address the story but I said I was going to disregard it.”

Onyinye said she will not continue to keep quiet and allow people to malign her image.
She said, “You keep writing about me and I always let it slide. But now, I need you to post the hotel’s name and tell me how I stole a towel.
