There was a mild drama in the Council Chambers of the Presidential Villa, Wednesday morning as the Chief of Staff to the President, Abba Kyari and Head of Service of the Federation (HoS), Winifred Oyo-Ita, engaged in warm embrace to the admiration of everyone present.
BusinessDay recall that both public servants made headlines exactly one week ago as Kyari confronted the HoS with a threat to deal with her over alleged leakage of memo submitted by the former in defence of her roles in the AbdulRasheed Maina reinstatement saga.
The HoS was said to have shoved off the allegations and threats and promptly reported the attacks on her to Vice President Yemi Osinbajo.
Today’s action drew strong applause from everyone, including Vice President Yemi Osinbajo himself, who looked at the drama with admiration
Osinbajo was all smiles as Ministers, top government officials, as well as State House Journalists applauded the actions.
It all started when the Kyari, went straight to apologize to the HoS who was already seated awaiting President’s arrival for the commencement of the Federal Executive Council (FEC).
