The Taraba State Agro-Climatic Resilience in Semi-Arid Landscapes (ACReSAL) has organised a bid opening programme for Bobboji Storm, Water and Flood Control in the State.

Welcoming prospective bidders and declaring the exercise open at the ceremony held at ACReSAL Headquarters in Jalingo, Ishaku Barde, Commissioner, Ministry of Environment and Climate Change, said ACReSAL is a World Bank-assisted project while Bobboji Storm Water and Flood Control is a project under ACReSAL.
According to Barde, Bobboji Storm Water and Flood Control is jointly supported by World Bank, Federal Government of Nigeria and the Taraba State Government.

Our Correspondent gathered that ten companies participated in the bidding exercise, including RSA Global Investment Ltd, BONZEAL ltd, ZHONOGHAO construction Engr. Co. Ltd, Intrastructure Ltd (Nig), HAVAGE FARABIN JV, CGC Nig. Ltd (Nig), STEFANUTTI STOCKS HAPEL (Nig).
Others are OBTUSE TEC Engineering & Construction LTD, ZEKA Global Company Ltd and ASASCO NIG. LTD.
