Former Super Eagles striker Odion Ighalo has advised Victor Osimhen to consider a lucrative move to the Saudi Pro League amid growing transfer interest from both European and Middle Eastern clubs.
Osimhen, who recently helped Galatasaray win the Turkish Cup during a loan spell, remains under contract with Napoli for another year.

Despite strong interest from Saudi Arabian giants Al-Hilal, the Nigerian forward has so far turned down multiple offers from the Gulf nation.
However, Ighalo, who left the Premier League in 2021 after a stint with Manchester United to join Saudi side Al-Shabab and now plays for Al-Wehda, believes Osimhen should not hesitate to take the opportunity.
Speaking on a podcast hosted by former Big Brother Naija housemate Teddy A, Ighalo said:
“I want to share my opinion, even if people criticise me for it; I don’t care.
Victor Osimhen was the Serie A top scorer at Napoli and helped them win the league for the first time in 33 years. He’s now won the league again in Turkey with Galatasaray and finished as top scorer. He has also been named African Footballer of the Year.
My advice to him is simple: go to Saudi Arabia, play for two years, secure the bag, and then come back to Europe. It won’t end his career; it will only set him up even better for the future.”
Meanwhile, Galatasaray are in talks with Napoli over a permanent move for the 26-year-old striker, although the Italian club is demanding the original €75 million release clause, even though it has officially expired.
Osimhen is reportedly pushing for a return to Istanbul, but with Saudi clubs still lurking, his next move remains uncertain.
