Fidelity Bank Plc on Tuesday disbursed a total of N80 million from the N220 billion Micro Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) development fund established by the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) to three beneficiaries at nine percent interest rate.
The beneficiaries include Peter Ugwuneke, managing director, Petters & Daniels Industries Limited, Onitsha; Anthony Anyabueke, managing director, Pedro Plastics Nigeria Limited, Onitsha, and Uzochukwu Nwadi from Mushin, Lagos.
The beneficiaries were excited that they can now access loan at nine percent compared to 25 percent they were accessing from banks. “With this, we are going to access more loans for business expansion which will triple creation of more jobs for the unemployed youths”, they said.
