If you are looking for a unique way to express your style, and unwind in the most exciting way, then go for the new Martell Caractere.
Besides the style, the new Martell full of character offers elegance, complexity and balance for the true man of character. It pays tribute to the spirit of Jean Martell, the legendary entrepreneur and Martell founder. Hence, aspiring entrepreneurs need a little of Martel to finish well like Jean.
There are many reasons to go for Martell Caractere. The cognac is created using grapes sourced from Martell’s vineyards in the Domaine. It is distilled twice without lees and aged in fine grain French oak barrels. The blend has a generous character and subtle fruity notes. Martell Caractère has style, elegance, tenacity, and that touch of class that is special to Martell. Beyond the boldness of its flavor, this cognac is dedicated to true ‘men of character’, authentic, refined and confident in every dimension in life.
Of course, that was enough reason for the gathering of people from all walks of life at Oriental Hotel, Lekki last weekend to witness the launch of Martell Caractere, the iconic cognac from the stables of Pernod Ricard. The formally debut of the world famous cognac in Nigeria was glamorous on its own as a gathering of cognac connoisseurs, captains of industry, entertainers and other celebrities came to pay homage, as well as, welcome the unique drink full of character.
With its glamorous entrant into the Nigerian market, Nigeria became the second market globally after the United States of America to have a taste of Martell Caractere, the cognac for the true man; keeping up with the commitment to innovation and leadership in the cognac market.
The launch also witnessed the best of entertainment offerings as M.I, ace rapper and Wande Coal, a hip hop star, and Yung El, the rave of the moment, combined their acts to ensure no dull moment with scintillating performances. Also, on hand to dish out the best of music was DJ Nana, Nigeria’s foremost female disc jockey.
On the rationale behind the launch of the iconic drink in Nigeria, Oliver Fages, managing director, Pernod Ricard Nigeria, explained that the introduction of ‘Martell Caractère’ into the Nigerian market was in line with the global drive to position the brand uniquely in the minds of its consumers.
According to Fages, Martell will be celebrating its tricentennial anniversary. For him, the 300 years of producing the world’s number 1 ultra-premium cognac and Martell Caractère is rooted in this history, utilising the 300-year-old Martell Method, a unique distillation process passed down from Jean Martell himself.
“The new cognac is bold and refined. “Jean Martell was a man of adventure who constantly sought perfection and elegance, regardless of the challenges it posed and that is same tenacity that lives through Martell Caractère today. The House of Martell continues to lead innovation in cognac and we could not be more pleased to share that innovation in Nigeria with such a distinguished product, Caractère”, Fages further explained.
