Bauchi State Governor, Bala Mohammed, has urged the 2,520 intending pilgrims from Bauchi State and the entire pilgrims from Nigeria to avoid any acts that will tarnish the image of the State and Nigeria in Saudi Arabia.
He said this during his farewell message to the intending pilgrims at the Sultan Saad Hajj Camp in Bauchi, appealing to Hajj pilgrims to live in peace and harmony with their fellow pilgrims.
He said the State Government had made adequate arrangements for the welfare of all pilgrims that would be going to the Holy Land of Saudi Arabia.
The governor, who was represented by his Deputy, Mohammed Auwal Jatau. said the State Government had arranged befitting accommodation which is situated within a reasonable distance to the Grand Mosque of Haram.

“I congratulate the intending pilgrims for attaining this rare privilege of being chosen among millions of faithful to perform the 2025 Hajj. Max Air Limited has been engaged to airlift them from the Sir Abubakar Tafawa-Balewa International AirPort to King Muhammad Bin Abdullah International Airport, Madina.
“I am also aware that all the pilgrims have been fully vaccinated against meningitis and yellow fever. Government has sponsored medical personnel to provide first aid services for the pilgrims”, he noted.
The governor urged the intending pilgrims to continue praying for peaceful coexistence among the diverse religious, ethnic and political groups in Bauchi State.
He also expressed his appreciation to the relevant stakeholders for their support and cooperation to ensure the success of this year’s Hajj operations.
On his part, the Amirul Hajj and Emir of Jama’are, Nuhu Muhammad Wabi, promised that the team would work with all the relevant organisations to help the State Government to provide the state’s pilgrims with the best services.
