Your beauty! Your melanin! Your body! Your makeup! Your hair/weaves Your dresses! Your shoes! Your perfumes! Your lashes! Your intellect! Your relationship! Your squad! Your accent! Your snaps! They are goals. But can I ask a question, How many of us slay spiritually? How many of us slay intellectually? How many of our slay yields value?
Do you love yourself my sister? Genuine enough? To reject false identity and behold purpose? My sister, are you deliberate or specific in the making of your squad?
Do you invite destiny suckers instead of destiny lubricants into your life? You might be one, because goats don’t hang out with the sheep and vice versa.
Asides googling the fanciest restaurants in town and where to get tickets to the next show or event happening, do you make an effort to use that same Google to research on your field of study/profession?
Do you pray for yourself? Your family? You friends? Your sisters too? Your Own father’s son? They won’t stop breaking your heart because they are not yours so start asking God to keep yours for His own right time.
Do you know what is called “power”? You ! You are powerful! …..Know your wool and flax girl! Get you a squad that can pray! Slay! And boogie down. It’s not enough to crave support and love from outside girl! You need to give yourself more than they give you.
Remember, you can’t give what you don’t have? So even when the right type of support comes, because you don’t know what it feels like from within, you might ignore it.
It’s not enough to crave prices over your body! Girls, proverbs 31:10…….you are far worth more than rubies.When you slay in becoming intentional, intellectually, spiritually, You will just be ‘popping’ because you are set apart. One more thing, Never forget to respond to life instead of reacting to it, amidst that, may God grant you hearing ears and seeing eyes.
