Capable and aspiring young men in the music industry believes that going into circular music is the only way they can be known and recognized in the industry, but that is not the case for Chinedu, Chinonso, Udochukwu and Kennedy also known as Da Unique because of their melodious voices. These aspiring young men believes that sooner or later, Gospel music will take over the industry. They choose to do
gospel music because they want to win lives for Christ and make others know that there is fun in praising God.
Over time, Artistes who come together to form a group don’t stand the test of time due to various challenges but that is not the case for Da Unique who believes that God is in control in all they do “ We can’t do it on our own,we believe God is the one in control,he has chosen to use us and we are set f his work. The best is still in stock so we are in season and out of season”
Da Unique decided to come as group having discovered their strengths in the music line “ we believe we have Unique strength together,we have different vocal power so coming together was like bringing all together what we have to
create a unique difference.”
They do more of Accapella and gospel hip hop songs Kennedy is the Base singer,Chinedu is the Treble singer, Chinonso is the Alto and Udochukwu is the Tenor singer. This melodious singers have released songs like “Ebube”, “big papa” and “My wish” and still working on others. They want to create a change in the gospel musical world by enriching lives through their voices.
The young gospel singers are students of Yabatech in Lagos and they are motivated by the challenges they encounter each passing
day “ Our motivations comes from the challenges we have faced and passed through,we strongly believe in our passion of enriching
lives so that’s what keeps us going.”
Their aim is to impact lives through their music especially this generation and to bring them closer to the gospel. The group Da Unique was formed to impact and change lives and also fix in things that are missing in the gospel industry. This young men should be looked out for in the industry because very soon they would take the industry to the next level.
