A Federal High Court in Abuja on Thursday revoked the bail granted leader of Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu.
The trial judge, Justice Binta Nyako, also issued a bench warrant of arrest against the runaway Kanu.
Kanu sneaked out of the country, when the army attacked his country home in Abia state in September 2017.
The court had granted Kanu bail in April, 2017, based on health grounds.
Since then, Kanu, who is facing charges bordering on treason, has refused to attend court for his trail.
At Thursday’s proceedings, Justice Nyako said Kanu’s absence in court cannot stop his trial.
