Chelsea will be aiming to get their Premier League campaign back on track on Saturday when they host Brighton & Hove Albion at Stamford Bridge.
While a midweek Carabao Cup victory over Lincoln City provided a welcome boost, Enzo Maresca’s side are still seeking to bounce back from consecutive defeats in the Premier League and Champions League.

Confidence will be drawn from their strong home form, where they remain unbeaten in 12 league matches and are chasing a fourth consecutive clean sheet at Stamford Bridge.
Brighton, meanwhile, have won both meetings against Chelsea in 2025, though both victories came in Sussex.
Their record in London is far less impressive, with just one win in 12 trips to Stamford Bridge, losing nine, including the last three.
The Seagulls’ preparations have been boosted by the return of Mats Wieffer, Maxim De Cuyper, Brajan Gruda, and Yankuba Minteh, while Jack Hinshelwood, Adam Webster, and Solly March remain sidelined.
Chelsea, however, continue to grapple with a lengthy injury list. Cole Palmer (groin) is out until after the international break, while defenders Tosin Adarabioyo, Wesley Fofana, Levi Colwill, and Liam Delap, are unavailable.
Benoit Badiashile and Romeo Lavia could return, pending late fitness assessments, though goalkeeper Robert Sanchez is suspended.
