Nigerians have been urged to take advantage of the various development initiatives of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) in agriculture and small and medium enterprises to curb youth restiveness. Isaac Okorafor, head of the CBN fair and acting director, corporate communications department of the bank, said this on Tuesday, December 5, 2017, at the CBN sensitisation programme in Port-Harcourt, Rivers State.
Okorafor said the CBN fair is an interactive forum aimed at explaining policies, programmes and initiatives of the bank, as well as providing means of getting redress on issues in which the public felt short-changed in dealing with deposit money banks and the activities of the CBN. Okorafor, who was represented by Chukwudum Nzelu of the Development Finance Department, said Rivers State is the 34th State in which the CBN Fair will be taking place. Okorafor reaffirmed the CBN’s commitment to working to ensure economic stability and prosperity for Nigerians.
