La Liga champions Barcelona have sold out all 23,000 tickets for an open training session at the newly renovated Camp Nou on Friday, marking the team’s first appearance at the stadium since May 2023.
Tickets were priced at €5 for club members and €10 for the general public, with proceeds expected to support club initiatives.
The €1.2 billion renovation project, which began in June 2023, aims to expand Europe’s largest football venue from 99,000 to 105,000 seats.

Although the club initially targeted a November 2024 return to coincide with its 125th anniversary, construction delays and permit issues pushed the reopening back.
Club president Joan Laporta said earlier this week that he hopes Barça can resume playing at Camp Nou later this month.
Since mid-2023, Barcelona have played home matches at the 55,000-seat Olympic Stadium. Hansi Flick’s squad will use Friday’s session to prepare for Sunday’s La Liga fixture.
