This drink is breakfast in a cup, ready to go. Banana Oat Smoothie works great for those mornings you are rushing out of the house but still want a meal that packs a punch. For that extra bit of sweetness add in honey or maple syrup and you’re good to go!
Ingredients
2 pcs Banana
1 cup milk
4 tbsps white oats
2 tbsps honey
1 cup plain yoghurt
Method
Put the banana (frozen), ½ cup yoghurt, oats, milk (can reduce this if you want it thicker) and honey into a blender.
Blend until smooth. Alternatively you can prepare this the night before and put in the fridge. In the morning just add a bit of milk and mix.
Serve in glass cups or a take away cup for the road.
