The presidential candidate of the PDP Atiku Abubakar has scored a big win in Amuwo Odofin Local government in Lagos polling 34,312 to 16,670 votes scored by Presidentt Muhammadu Buhari who is expected to take majority of the votes in the nation’s largest voting state.
President Muhammadu Buhari is leading in Lagos where the result of Saturday’s presidential election has been declared in most local government areas.
While Atiku won in Ojo, Etinosa and Surulere local governments, Buhari won in Lagos Mainland, Oshodi/Isolo LGA, Mushin LGA, Ifako Ijaiye LGA, Agege LGA, Badagary LGA, Ikeja LGA, Epe LGA, Apapa LGA as well as Ikorodu LGA, Ibeju/Lekki LGA and Lagos Mainland LGA. In Shomolu APC got 28,418 and PDP 21,978; Kosofe APC 39,216, and PDP 28,715 and Ajeromi/Ifelodun APC 28,152 while PDP got 31,971.
Badagary’s is regarded as stronghold of the PDP but Buhari took it this time, scoring 21,417 to Atiku’s 17,936.
