INEC says it has commenced the distribution of sensitive materials for the 2017 Anambra state governorship election at the local government level in all INEC offices.
The election holds tomorrow Saturday 18 November.
The Resident Electoral Commissioner in the state, Nkwachukwu Orji, announced this while addressing newsmen in Awka.
Orji advised all political parties to deploy their agents in order to witness the process of sharing and distributing the materials.
The REC said the materials were checked and received from the Central Bank of Nigeria, Awka branch, by the commission on Thursday.
Orji explained that this was done in the presence of party agents, election observers and the media.
He maintained that in distributing the materials, local government areas were clustered into five groups based on the distant, terrain and voter registration density.
He assured the people of the state of the readiness of the commission to conduct the election, urging them to come out en-masse to participate in the poll.
