Medview Airlines on Sunday got a clean bill of health for its aircraft that was involved in an incident after a test flight conducted by Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) inspectors on Sunday.
During the test, the 30 minutes flight took the aircraft to Ibadan and back to Lagos with the inspectors of NCAA on board.
On arrival, the inspectors certified the aircraft okay to enter into service.
They concluded that what was mistaken for smoke, which caused false fire alarm, could have been thick fog from the aircraft cooling system.
According to Obuke Oyibotha, the airline’s spokesman, the management of the airline commended the timely action of NCAA in conducting the checks on the aircraft and releasing it for normal flight operations.
Meanwhile, Medview Airlines has said safety is the hallmark of all its operations.
