Accion Microfinance Bank reinforces its commitment to financial inclusion with the opening of its 76th branch nationwide and third branch, strategically located in the vibrant commercial district of Wuse, Abuja.
The new branch is located at Wuse Market, Herbert Macaulay Way, Wuse, Abuja, and was officially opened on Thursday, 19 February 2026.
The launch was attended by distinguished guests including Mr. Taiwo Joda (Managing Director/CEO, Accion MfB), Mr. Ayodeji Mebude (Group Head, Operations, Accion MfB), Mr. Stephen Olalere (Chief Commercial Officer, Accion MfB), Dr. Oluwole Olaomi (Consultant Surgeon, National Hospital Abuja), Barrister Ayodeji Akande (Principal Partner, Deji Akande & CO), Dr. Emmanuel Adeoye Adesoji (Retired Deputy Commander General of Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps), and Vitus Okonkwo (Senior Legislative Aide to Honourable Chike John Okafor), among other notable guests.

The new branch reflects Accion MfB’s dedication to bringing inclusive and affordable financial services closer to individuals, traders, and small businesses. To introduce its services, strengthen relationships with traders, and promote awareness of financial literacy and empowerment.
Delivering the keynote address, Mr. Taiwo Joda (Managing Director/CEO, Accion MfB) emphasized the bank’s dedication to empowering individuals and businesses through convenient, affordable, and reliable financial solutions.
