Mike Ewewie, managing director, Cedar D’Vine Nigeria limited, has disclosed that access to capital, human resources and limited economic potential to attract the fight talents are top most challenges for Nigeria business owners.
“In our country, capital is a problem, because we don’t have easy access to capital. And the available ones are at a very high cost,” Ewewie said during the company’s 20th anniversary celebration on Friday August 29, in Ogun State.
According to him, entrepreneurs are finding it difficult to meet-up with the required human resource needed to upscale their businesses because of high operating cost, which has limit their bottom-line over the years.
“In our country today, we are beginning to have scarcity of quality people with integrity. So, that’s a challenge.
“The third point is also that the economic potential to purchase the power of the people is limited,” he said.
According to him, the 20th anniversary celebration highlights the vibrant team spirit of the workforce. “We could not have come this far without your contributions.”
Ewewie said that an organisation that wants to grow must build an inclusive ecosystem that also allow for growth of its employees and staffers.
“An organization that will be worth any value cannot be run on the shoulders of one man. So, we have a vibrant team.
“With sustained passion, we would soon become an household name in this country, becauss we believe the earth is our coverage area,” he said.
Stella Mike-Ewewie, executive director, Cedar D’Vine Nigeria limited, said the company in the last 20 years have pursued the vision of becoming an household name.
