Air Peace to suspend flight operations over local gov’t elections

Air Peace airline has announced that it will suspend flight operations into and out of Lagos on Saturday, 12 July 2025, from 3 am to 3 pm due to the local government elections.

The airline, in a statement released Thursday, said that the movement restrictions across all roads and waterways in Lagos State by the Lagos State Police Command also necessitated the flight suspension.

The airline also announced that regular flight operations to and from Lagos will resume at 4 pm on the same day, in line with its scheduled services.

“We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause our valued passengers whose travel plans are affected,” the airline stated.
