For Nigeria to make progress and achieve its economic targets there is need for the country to stimulate her natural resources, Hayford Alile, former chief executive of the Nigerian Stock Exchange (NSE), has stated.
Alile, who is the chairman of The Hayford Alile Foundation (THAF), said this in Lagos while addressing newsmen ahead a public lecture organised by the foundation to mark his 73rd birthday.

The economist pointed out that most Nigerians have entrepreneurial attribute but regretted that these potentials have remained inactive.
He, however, stressed that the country can stimulate economic growth by paying adequate attention to education and entrepreneurship which are the main focus of his foundation.
“Unfortunately, the entrepreneurial-driven individuals in our society lack basic education to do things right. This country can benefit a lot by exciting her natural resources.”
