As part of its efforts to encourage its customers to cultivate a saving habit, deepen financial inclusion in Nigeria and reward its loyal customers as it celebrates its 30 years of existence, First City Monument Bank (FCMB); a member of FCMB Group Plc recently conducted its second monthly Regional and Zonal electronic selection of customers for the FCMB 30th Anniversary promo.
The recent selection produced an additional 133 lucky customers from 26 locations around the country, winning various cash and prizes as three customers won N1million each, while 130 others won LCD Televisions, Fridges, Generators and other cash prices.
At the Lagos/South-West Regional draw held at Ijebu-Ode in Ogun state, Yetunde Adeyemi Oludaisi was rewarded with N1million, while Abubakar Isah Saba won the N1million at the North Regional draw held in Kaduna. The third N1million winner Kevin Osekemen Atama, emerged from the South-East/South-South Regional draw which took place in Enugu.
Olu Akanmu, Senior Vice President/Divisional Head, Retail Banking, FCMB explained that the reward is a fulfilment of the promise made by the Bank at the launch of the promo to reward customers who qualified and participated in the promotion.
“This is also another way to appreciate our esteemed customers for being invaluable partners over the years as we celebrate our 30 years of existence as a Bank,’’ Akanmu added.
On how to participate in the promo, Akanmu explained that existing FCMB customers or potential customers should save N10,000 in any of the eligible accounts for 30 days to qualify for the monthly random selection of winners stressing that multiple savings of N10, 000 will increase a customer’s chance of qualifying for the electronic selection.
“Customers can also save N10,000 in monthly increments over three months or have an incremental average account balance of N30,000.00 in February 2014 to qualify for the grand electronic selection where the star reward of three Hyundai Sports Utility Vehicles (SUVs) will be given away,” the bank’s retail banking, divisional head stated.
He also disclosed that the first set of 133 lucky customers of the Bank that emerged winners at the first Regional and Zonal draws, which was held on December 11, 2013, have been rewarded with their respective prizes as the promotion which started in October 2013, will run till February 2014.
The third and final Regional and Zonal electronic selection of customers will be held nationwide, on March 2014. This will be the Grand Finale during which three FCMB customers will be rewarded with a Hyundai Sports Utility Vehicle each.
