With the plethora of generators, inverters and other backup systems competing for space within the power sub-sector amid Nigeria’s drop in power supply, Emel Advanced Power Solutions Limited (EAPS), part of the Emel Group, has introduced its Sinergy brand of inverters and batteries from India to the Nigerian market.
The new Sinergy brand was introduced to a cross section of dealers and stakeholders at a special forum held at the Executive Hall, Rockview Hotel, Apapa, Lagos on Saturday, February 1, 2014.
The inverters, which come in various models of 875VA and 1500VA for household and home use, as well as 2.5KVA, 3.5KVA, 5VA, 7.5KVA, 10KVA and even as high as 30KVA, for commercial use, come with the unique feature of being noiseless and stable when compared to other similar products in the market.
For the Sinergy inverter batteries, the Company revealed that they come with the unique features of being C-10 batteries designed to support long and frequent power cuts.
According to Ritesh Kumar, head of EAPS, the launch of the Sinergy portfolio satisfies the demand of many Nigerian home owners and businesses for a superior range of power backup solutions, including small to high capacity inverters and batteries that offer high efficiency and are great value for money.
Anuj Saxena, vice president, Sinergy India, who was the special guest at the event, said that Sinergy products are built to international standards with Pure Sinewave Inverter Technology providing reliable and stable power supply and ensuring 100% safety of all appliances.
In addition, Saxena explained that what differentiates Sinergy from other brands in the market is “the winning combination of a high performing inverters and batteries.”
The Sinergy India VP added that Sinergy products offer a higher level of surge protection, which is a common challenge of Nigerian consumers. Further, the in-built Auto Sense Intelligent Control (ASIC) technology, offers higher battery life and faster charging, resulting in significant cost savings in the long term.
