Nigerian online retailer Konga has rolled out a new nationwide sales drive featuring price cuts on satellite internet kits and premium smartphones, as it steps up competition for consumer spending during the Ramadan and Lenten season.
The campaign, branded “Berekete Sales,” includes a discounted offer on the Starlink Gen 3, now priced at N550,000, down from N590,000, according to the company. Konga said it is an authorised distributor of the service in Nigeria and provides activation support in select cities.

The retailer is also taking pre-orders for the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra, with customers eligible for gift items valued at more than N500,000. The incentives are aimed at attracting early adopters of the high-end device.
In addition to the headline technology deals, Konga said the promotion extends to computing, home appliances, electronics, beauty and personal care products, with discounts of up to 50 percent across selected categories.

Victor Olaleye, Konga’s group head of marketing, said the campaign was timed to coincide with a period when many households traditionally increase spending ahead of Eid al-Fitr and other seasonal gatherings.
Retailers in Africa’s largest economy have leaned on promotional campaigns to shore up demand as inflation and currency weakness weigh on consumer purchasing power.
Konga did not disclose the duration of the campaign but said the offers are available online and at its retail outlets nationwide.
