The All Progressives Congress (APC) has extended the timeline for the purchase and submission of expression of interest and nomination forms ahead of its zonal congress and national convention.
The APC in a statement on Tuesday by Felix Morka, its National Publicity Secretary, announced that the new window for the exercise will run from March 12 to March 23, 2026.
The party, however, clarified that the adjustment does not affect the previously announced dates for the main events.
According to the statement, the zonal congress will still hold on March 25, while the national convention remains scheduled for March 26–27, 2026.
The APC also disclosed a change of venue for the South-South Zonal Congress, which will now take place in Asaba, Delta State.
The party added that formal notification of the revised schedule has been communicated to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) in compliance with statutory requirements, urging party members and stakeholders to take note and adjust their plans accordingly.
