Ruth Kadiri, award-winning actor, screenwriter, producer, and YouTube powerhouse will headline Future Focus 2026, a virtual masterclass series by Woof Studios Africa.
Future Focus 2026 arrives at a pivotal moment for the global creator economy, which is projected to surpass $250 billion by 2025, with Africa’s market expected to grow to nearly $18 billion by 2030.

Despite this growth, creators across the continent continue to face challenges such as limited brand budgets, monetisation gaps, and overreliance on virality.
In her session titled “Creator Currency: Turning Ideas Into Income,” Kadiri will share her blueprint for moving beyond “likes” to building sustainable economic value.
She will teach creators how to price their work accurately, monetize in the African and global market, and leverage intellectual property to build long-term wealth.
The four-day event, from February 3-6, is designed to equip African creators with practical strategies for branding, monetization, and using AI.
A leading digital filmmaker in Nollywood, Ruth has mastered direct-to-audience storytelling, cultivating strong audience loyalty and owning her intellectual property. Her success is anchored by her flagship YouTube channel, which by late 2025 had grown to approximately 3.6 million subscribers and recorded over 742 million lifetime views.
Kadiri’s impact has attracted global recognition in recent years. In 2025, she was honoured by YouTube as one of Nigeria’s top female creators during the platform’s 20th anniversary celebrations and was recently crowned YouTube Influencer of the Year at the 2026 Pulse Influencer Awards in January. She also won the Global ELOY Award for Digital Film and Innovation, underscoring her role as a trailblazer in digital storytelling.
Speaking on the vision behind the initiative, Adetutu Laditan, founder and creative director of Woof Studios Africa, emphasised the need for a more strategic approach to creator success.
“Future Focus 2026 is our commitment to empowering Africa’s creative visionaries with more than just inspiration,” stated Laditan. “We’re excited to have influential voices like Ruth Kadiri and others to help attendees move beyond mere buzzwords. We aim to provide the tools, systems, and strategic foresight needed to build resilient brands, leverage technology, and create sustainable income. This initiative is about ensuring our stories are not only told but are also sustainable, influential, and recognized on the world stage.”
