The organisers of the 5th edition of South West Investment Summit 2025 have said that the event hopes to promote trade and bring viable investment to the region.
This was outlined during the visit of the Central Working Committee of the project led by Desmond Femi Agboola to the Chairman, Nigeria Social insurance Trust Fund (NSITF) Management Board who doubled as the Chairman Advisory council of the South West Investment Summit, Sola Olofin.
According to the organisers, the theme of this year’s event ‘South West Forward: Harnessing Investment, Talent, and Technology,’ underscores the need to leverage the region’s strengths to drive sustainable economic growth and innovation.
“Over the years, the South West Investment Summit has been a platform for growth and development. The 2025 edition promises to build on this legacy by bringing together key stakeholders to explore critical areas such as investment, talent development, and technology-driven transformation,” a statement said.
The release added that this project would outline the opportunities and potentials of the region which include enhanced economic impact, and strategic networking opportunities.
The event is schedule to hold in October 2025 at Eko Hotel & Suites Lagos State and expected to bring together exhibitors, seasoned speakers and panelists from across the world.
Other activities during the summit will includes South West Advancement Award designed to recognise great individuals who have done well for the development of the region as well as panel sessions, breakout sessions, exhibitions and networking opportunities for young entrepreneurs.
The South West Investment Summit is a premier platform designed to promote trade and investment across the South West region of Nigeria.
