Bangkok recorded more than 32 million international visitors in 2024, making it the most visited city worldwide. The capital continues to attract travellers through its mix of urban energy and cultural depth. Street food, temples, markets and nightlife all contribute to its appeal. Beyond the crowded roads and high-rise skyline, older neighbourhoods along the canals maintain a slower rhythm, showing another side of the city that draws repeat visits.
2. Istanbul, Turkey

Istanbul welcomed over 23 million visitors last year. The city’s position across two continents remains its strongest asset, with the Bosphorus linking Europe and Asia. Tourists come for historic sites such as Hagia Sophia and the Blue Mosque, while others are drawn to markets, ferry rides and a growing café and arts culture. Istanbul continues to thrive on its role as a meeting point of empires and ideas.
3. London, United Kingdom

London attracted nearly 22 million visitors in 2024. Its strength lies in a balance between long-standing heritage and constant reinvention.
