In order to boost its economy and make life meaningful for the people, the Kwara state government has re-established its commitment to support investors
Kayode Alabi, the State Deputy Governor, stated this on Monday shortly after inspecting Padson Assembly Plant, Irewolede Area, Ilorin.
Alabi who says he is impressed with what he has seen which he described as an indication that investors are on ground and ready to make use of the abundant human and natural resources; added that the Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq led government would create enabling environment for business to strive in the State.
The deputy governor had while noting that the coming of the Plant would create employment opportunities and help in the developing the state economy; urged the Management of the Plant not to relent in its bid, adding that the move would benefit the State and its people.
While conducting the Deputy Governor round the Plant, the Chairman Padson Limited, Hezekial Adedeji, said it is a group of companies that is into assembling of tricycle, vehicles, cars, trucks, production of paints and solid minerals.
Adedeji, therefore called for government patronage and showcasing it to other States, maintaining that if supported, it would create more job opportunities for Kwarans and people living in the state.
He reveals that people could be trained on auto mobile and other services as the outfit want the government and the people feel its impacts.
