Some of the members of Shiite who were arrested over protest to free their detained leader, Ibrahim El-Zakzaky, have been arraigned.
They were arraigned at a Magistrate Court in Wuse, Abuja, Thursday.
Scores of Shiite members had been arrested since Saturday through Tuesday, when they tried to force their way from the Zuba and Nyanyan axis of Abuja to the central district area of the Federal Capital for protest. However, they met stiff resistance from security men.

The clashes are believed to have claimed many lives of followers of El-Zakzaky.
On Monday, the Nigerian Army claimed its troops killed three of them at the Nyanyan end, alleging that the protesters confronted soldiers to provoke a clampdown on them on Saturday.
The FCT police on Tuesday said no fewer than 400 members of the group were arrested and detained after the group clashed with the officers during an inter-state rally at the Zuba.
