IPAC commends process as PDP clears Gombe council poll

Inter-Party Advisory Council (IPAC) Gombe State says it has accepted the results of Feb. 25th council elections in the state.

Alhaji Adamu Aliyu, Publicity Secretary of the council stated this at a news conference  in Gombe on Sunday.

“We, under the umbrella of registered political parties in Gombe State, accept the results of the just concluded local government elections, which favoured the candidates of PDP”, he said.

He commended the State Independent Electoral Commission for conducting ” free, fair and  peaceful” elections.

Aliyu also commended the efforts of security agencies for maintaining law and order in the state.

He thanked chairmen of all the  political parties for their contribution, compliance and obedience during the exercise.

Aliyu further prayed for the newly elected chairmen and councilors for God’s guidance and wisdom  during their  tenure, advising  them to fulfill their electoral  promises
