The Code of Conduct Tribunal (CCT), Wednesday, issued a bench warrant on the suspended Chief Justice of Nigeria (CJN), Justice Walter Onnoghen, for failure to appear before it to take his plea.
At the last adjourned date, chairman of the tribunal, Umar Danladi, had ordered that Onnoghen should appeared before the court today to take his plea failure which no application from him would be entertained.
At the resumed hearing Wednesday, the suspended CJN was not in court.
Consequently, Dalandi ordered the Inspector General of Police and the Director of State Security Service to arrest the suspended CJN and produce him before the tribunal on Friday, February 18.
