An APC chieftain in South Africa, Chief Chuks Okoye, on Sunday said President Muhammadu Buhari has the potentials to make Nigeria regain her lost glory.

“This task cannot be achieved in one day. But with time, Nigerians will see the difference and style of leadership Buhari will bring to the country.”

“Its unfortunate the past administration did not handle the nation’s economy well and this brought hardship to Nigerians.”

“We are very optimistic that Buhari’s administration will fix the country and restore its lost glory,”Okoye, who is the Chairman of the National Elders Forum of the APC in South Africa, said.

Okoye, however, urged Nigerians to support the new administration so that the country would return to the path of growth and development.

According to him, Nigeria is blessed with abundant resources waiting to be harnessed for development.

” President Buhari’s declaration that he belongs to everybody and belongs to nobody was significant and aimed at giving a sense of belonging to all Nigerians,” he said.

Okoye said “APC members in South Africa would contribute to ensure the success of the new administration in the country.”

“We will lend our expertise, time and energy to assist the country return to the good times.”

“Nigeria needs a lot of support now to overcome some of her challenges,” he said.
