President Muhammadu Buhari will take 10 days off and travel to London on Monday, June 6th to rest, the Presidency said Sunday night.

This is the second time the President is embarking on a holiday to the United Kingdom where many believe he courts a medical team. However, this time, the Presidency confirms that he will be examined by E.N.T specialists.

The president was reported to be dealing with an infection in his left ear, known as Meniere Disease. This has reportedly caused a
drastic reduction in his outings in the last couple of weeks.

President Buhari has in the last two weeks put off trips to Lagos, Rivers, and Senegal, leaving Nigerians speculating as to the true
state of his health.

Reports say as a result of the infection, the president now suffers hearing impairment and routinely complains of severe pains and unusual sounds from the affected ear.

This is the second time in the last one year that President Buhari, 73,  is taking a holiday to London to rest and pay attention to his
health.

A statement by Presidential Spokesman, Femi Adesina said  this time he will be examined by Ear.Nose.Throat(E.N.T) specialists in the United Kingdom.

“during the holiday, he will see an E.N.T. specialist for a persistent ear infection. The President was examined by his Personal Physician and an E.N.T Specialist in Abuja and was treated. Both Nigerian doctors recommended further evaluation purely as a precaution” Adesina
