The Special Adviser to Governor Darius Ishaku on Political Matters, Abubakar Bawa, and the Executive Secretary, Taraba State Primary Health Care Development Agency, Aminu Jauro Hassan, have lauded BusinessDay Newspaper for nominating him as the best governor on poverty alleviation and social investment.The duo made their comments separately in interviews with BusinessDay in Jalingo.
Bawa said BusinessDay newspaper was on the right track by nominating the governor for such a prestigious award, explaining that Ishaku’s achievements had no place to hide.
The political Adviser employed the governor to sustain the massive development in the state, adding that if momentum was maintained, more investments would continue to flow into9 Taraba.
“The award coming from a reputable newspaper like BusinessDay is worth commending.
“The governor’s record of achievements cannot be hidden. If these are maintained Taraba will attract more investors,” Bawa noted.
Jauro on his part said that given Ishaku’s record of giant strides in developmental issues, the award did not come as a surprise.
While congratulating the governor, he said the award was a reaffirmation of the Ishaku’s administrative finesse and leadership guard which he has brought to bear on the development content of Taraba state.
“The award, which is very deserving, did not come as a surprise. This is because the governor has dotted the landscape of Taraba State with massive development within the few years that he took over the mantle of leadership,” Jauro said.
