Heavily-armed policemen on Friday invaded the Abuja residence of controversial senator, Dino Melaye (PDP, Kogi State).
The lawmaker had on Christmas Day raised the alarm that he would be arrested by the police and injected to death, a statement the police immediately denied.
BusinessDay gathered that the invasion of the lawmaker’s residence located at 11 Sangha street, off Mississippi, Maitama, Abuja took place at about 12:09pm on Friday.
As of the time of filing this report, the street where the senator’s house is located has been cordoned of by arm-wielding security operatives with Toyota hilux operational vehicles.
It would be recalled that in April this year, police invaded his residence in Abuja.
