25 ships with petroleum products, food items expected at Lagos ports

25 ships laden with petroleum products, food items and other goods are expected to arrive Apapa and Tin-Can Island Ports in Lagos from Aug. 2 to  Aug. 28.

The Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) made the announcement in its `Shipping Position’ on Wednesday in Lagos.

NPA said that the ships contained buck wheat, bulk fertiliser, general cargo, frozen fish, bulk sugar, empty containers, bulk maize, bulk corn, petrol and containers laden with goods.

The  report that nine ships had arrived the ports earlier, waiting to berth with bulk fertiliser, bulk corn and petrol.

23 other ships are at the ports discharging buck wheat, bulk corn, bulk fertiliser, general cargo, bulk gas, petrol, bulk salt, trucks, crude palm olein, raw sugar, empty containers and containers.
