Aspira partners LAWMA to empower sanitation workers in Lagos

Aspira Nigeria Limited, manufacturer of a range of home and personal care products has partnered with the Lagos State Waste Management Authority (LAWMA) to empower sanitation workers in the state.

The company which also produces the Viva Detergent, Viva Dishwashing Liquid, has demonstrated its unwavering commitment to community well-being and call mom environmental sanitation by donating five hundred branded uniforms to LAWMA at a formal handover ceremony held on Friday, 8th August 2025, at the authority’s headquarters in Lagos.

For over 15 years, Aspira has built a reputation for delivering quality and affordable products while also standing shoulder-to-shoulder with communities in initiatives that protect public health, promote hygiene, and create cleaner, safer living environments.

This latest collaboration with LAWMA reinforces the company’s dedication to supporting sanitation efforts, ensuring that Lagos remains a thriving and healthy city for all its residents.

Speaking at the event, Muyiwa Gbadegesin, managing director of LAWMA, expressed appreciation for the collaboration, stating that this partnership not only provides their teams with the resources they need but also motivates and showing them that their daily efforts to keep Lagos clean are valued.

“We are deeply encouraged when our work is recognised and supported by responsible corporate organisations like Aspira Nigeria Limited.

“With Viva’s support, we are confident we can achieve even greater results for the environment and the people of Lagos,” Gbadegesin said.

Lynda Aguocha, head of advertising & public relations at Aspira Nigeria Limited, highlighted the brand’s longstanding commitment to hygiene, noting that the company believes that a clean environment is the foundation for healthy communities, and LAWMA shares this vision.
