The Governor of Adamawa state, Ahmed Umaru Fintiri on Sunday extended a hand of fellowship to the opposition parties to join Him in revamping the battered fortunes of the State.

The governor disclosed this in a statement in Yola and signed by his Director media and press Solomon Kumangar.
The statement reads in part: “The Judiciary has confirmed the decision of the people of Adamawa, I will continue to make the state great, so that it will continue to compete in the comity of states
“I want to call on the opposition in Adamawa to pinch tennt with my government and PDP for us to jointly bring back the lost glory of our state.”
He lauded the Election Petition Tribunal for being upright and just, and also thanked the entire citizens of Adamawa State for their support and prayers.
The governor restated his firm resolve to work for the good of the people of the State and promised never to let them down.
The Governorship Election Petition Tribunal sitting in Yola on Friday October 11 2019 dismissed the petition by the All Progressives Congress (APC) asking for the nullification of Fintiri’s victory.
