If you desire to dine and wine where quality and affordability matter, then you need to book a table at Lagos’ swanky restaurant.
Well-positioned in the Penthouse on the 12th floor of the hotel, Sky Restaurant and Lounge, Eko Hotel & Suites, is closer to the sky than the birds, yet it has this ‘wow’ factor that is very obvious to guests.
Not only does it have the best view and the most thought-out décor, the swanky restaurant is about the most expensive place to go for lunch and dinner in Lagos, especially on the Island because of its first-class cuisine. It is definitely very pricey, but you will not walk out disappointed. But if you are not in the mood for food, the bar and lounge (though for fat wallets) is a great place to enjoy some drinks as well.
The 130 high-profile guests’ capacity restaurant offers Asian fusion menu among other delicacies.
On every visit, guests get delighted and pampered by the hotel’s award-winning chef who performs his art with a fusion of culinary traditions that combine different cuisines from the south-eastern Asian region into a single eating experience.
While relishing on their choice menu, the guests also delight in the picturesque views of both the city and the Atlantic Ocean that are at a bird’s view from the penthouse. Beside the glitzy ambience with sweeping views of the city to the north and the ocean to the south, its large expanse lounge and space offer right venue for after lunch or dinner networking.
At the lounge, do not expect to buy a bottle of beer less than N1,500, as good wines and spirits are pricey. Peradventure, the barman says a bottle of Heineken is N2,000, he expects you to pay with smile as the place is just for those who do not have problem with money but on how to spend it.
As expected, the maitre d’ is constantly on hand to be of service and the waiters attend to you with a smile because the empty plates they packed from your table are worth their salary. Yes, about N10,000 or more per cuisine, exclusive of wine, is worth a sustained smile from the waiter and even the chef.
Of course, the food is great, well presented, but its value for money offering is left in the hands of guests who have visited the restaurant to decide.
The restaurant opens daily for:
