Tecno Telecom Limited, a China-based mobile phone manufacturer has launched its latest Android mobile device, Tecno Phantom 5.
Tecno Phantom 5 is a premium smart phone fully optimised for work and leisure. The new gadget boats of top of the line features such as 3GB RAM, fingerprint touch ID and full metal body casing.

The Phantom5 comes with 13MP auto focus rear camera that takes pictures even in low light and HiFi 2.0 Dolby nature surround audio- first natural boom sound stereos with zero sound distortion.
Explaining the features of the new android phone, Media and PR Manager, Tecno Mobile, Hanane Karroumi said “the accuracy and speed of Phantom 5’Touch’ sensor is fantastic, its scanner reads 360 degree user fingerprint and in just about the same instant the finger makes contact with the rear grove. This means that the sensor is sensitive enough to read your finger print in whatever position your finger is placed on it.”
Buttressing this point, the Digital Marketing Manager, Jesse Oguntimehin explained that the finger print technology was just one out of the incredible cutting edge features of the Phantom 5. “ There are only a few smart phones in the market that can boast of the MediaTek TFA9890 Octa-cor chipset and Phantom5 is one of them, which makes it a truly 5.5 inches portable PC. Also speaking at the event, Louis Njoku, a representative of the Standards Organization of Nigeria (SON) said that the regulatory body is pained by the introduction of substandard products into the Nigerian market, therefore the SON act has been reviewed and it now has the power to cease goods, arrest and prosecute people who produce and sell substandard goods in Nigeria. However, Njoku expressed delight in the incredible standard of Tecno phones saying, “Tecno products have always been tested to make sure that they meet the required standard from the onset. SON supports any genuine company that follows the regulation and that is why it supports Tecno.”

The Phantom 5 comes in two different colours; luxury champagne gold and elegant space grey.
