In a bid towards boosting business opportunities in Nigeria, the Managing Director, WSIAxon, Edirin Abamwa has harped on the potentials of digital marketing.
Speaking on a topic, ‘Digital Marketing for Multinational Companies- What You should know as a Decision Maker’ said that although, marketing is part of it but not about digital but about internet aspect of it and not television.
“We are talking about internet and not television, we are talking about digital and not broadcasting but the web or the internet, “he said. Abamwa also explained that going into it are with some challenges.
According to him, “there are a lot of challenges and the best thing is to get up to a marketing digital agency and discuss your intentions and aspirations so that they can guide you appropriately”.
He further pointed out that any organisation or individual trying to do it on their own may not be successful and may not get what they want.
Abamwa, however, advised that they need a consultant to steer and guide them so as to get a profitable business ventures.
He noted that there is need for corporate companies to engage their customers as a critical element of digital marketing as opposed to just having internet presence.
He posited that benefits of digital marketing access leads to a wider proof of consumers puts the consumers in control, provides convenience, increases satisfaction and drives brand royalty.
In addition, Abamwa maintained that other benefits also include; reducing the selling cycle, building their brand, and providing targeted results.
