Cyberspace Limited has announced the successful spin-off of two former strategic business units into independent entities.
Joe Onwubuya, managing director of Cyberspace Limited, stated that CyberPay and CyberCloud have been turned into independent entities serving the fintech and cloud computing needs of businesses in Nigeria and beyond.
“As we look to the future, our focus remains on enabling Nigeria’s digital transformation agenda through smart, scalable solutions in connectivity, cybersecurity, enterprise software, fintech and cloud services,” he said.

“We appreciate the pivotal role played by the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC), whose regulatory support has made much of our success possible.”
He expressed profound gratitude to Jim Ovia, the founder, saying, “His passion for excellence and innovation continues to inspire us all.”
According to Onwubuya, cyberspace designed and deployed a comprehensive Examination Integrity System for the National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN), effectively eliminating examination malpractice and upholding academic standards.
It has also implemented scalable Learning Management Systems for top-tier educational institutions and corporate bodies, enabling digital learning, training management, and knowledge sharing across multiple platforms.
