In the United States, and other countries of the world where horse racing is very popular, hats are usually the centre of attraction for women. Madam Bukky, a fascinator and hat maker said she has passion for the fascinators. She has been making hats for fifteen years. She said the reason why fascinators came into Nigeria is because some women going to church does not want to look churchy covering their heads, so since is a half hat that comes with a net , they want it to accessorize their wears. Bukky added that the fascinators are more popular at weddings especially for the bridal train.
The Kentucky Derby, known as the fastest two minutes in sports, is the culmination of the hard work of thousands of horses, owners, trainers and jockeys. Only twenty horses will vie for the coveted title, after multiple preliminary races to determine the best of the best. However ,Kentucky Derby who introduced the fascinators has always been a huge event in the world of horse racing and has become quite the event in the world of style.

Women dressed in their best, and always topped off the look with a fabulous hat.
