Galatasaray will pay Napoli €40million upfront, with the remaining €35million to be settled by the end of 2026.
Speaking shortly after his arrival, an emotional Osimhen expressed his delight at rejoining the club he once called home.
“For me, I don’t know the words to use to explain. It feels so great to be back. Look at the crowd, look at the people who are tracking the flight.
I’m home, this is where I want to be. I’m happy to be here, to come back to where I feel at home for myself, my family and my friends.”
Osimhen further expressed gratitude to Gala’s vice president, who pushed tirelessly to see that he returned to Turkey.
“I want to thank the President of Gala, the Vice-President, George Gardi, coach Okan Buruk, and everyone who made sure I came back. Also, a big thank you to the fans who pushed for this as much as I did.
I’m happy to be here. The story continues, and I’m proud to continue it with Galatasaray.”
Osimhen’s permanent move marks a major statement from Galatasaray as they gear up for the new season with high ambitions both domestically and in Europe.
