Manchester City will play Zinedine Zidane’s Real Madrid in the last four of the UEFA Champions League, with Atletico Madrid set to face Pep Guardiola’s Bayern Munich.
It sets up the possibility of either a Madrid derby or Guardiola facing his future employers in the Milan final on May 28. The first semi final ties will take place on the 26/27 April, with the return legs following a week later.

City advanced to the last four of the competition on Tuesday night after beating French champions Paris Saint Germain on aggregate, with Kevin De Bruyne’s solitary goal at the Etihad enough to snatch the tie after a 2-2 first leg draw.
It’s the first time the two-time Premier League winners have reached the last four of the Champions League, but they will now face 2014 winners Real Madrid, with the first leg taking place at City’s Etihad Stadium. Real advanced to the last four after Cristiano Ronaldo’s hat-trick gave them a 3-2 aggregate win over Wolfsburg.

Guardiola’s Bayern will host Atletico in the second leg of their tie, with the first taking place at Vicente Calderon. Atleti put in a stunning performance to overturn a 2-1 first leg deficit against last season’s winners Barcelona, with Antoine Griezmann’s double being the perfect compliment to a dogged defensive showing.
Diego Simeone’s side will be looking to go one better than how they fared in the competition in 2014, as they were beaten in the Lisbon final that year by city rivals Real in extra time.
