Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly showing strong interest in signing Nigerian striker Victor Boniface from Bayer Leverkusen, according to GIVEMESPORT.
After a proposed move to Saudi Pro League side Al-Nassr fell through earlier in the season, with the club instead signing Jhon Duran from Aston Villa, Tottenham were presented with an opportunity to land Boniface. Now, fresh reports indicate that the North London outfit are leading the race among Premier League clubs for his signature.
“Tottenham Hotspur could win the race to sign Victor Boniface as Hotspur Way has been identified as a viable destination after current employers Bayer Leverkusen have shown a willingness to sanction his departure during the summer transfer window,” GMS sources revealed.

Despite manager Ange Postecoglou bolstering his attacking options last summer, most notably with the £65 million arrival of Dominic Solanke from Bournemouth, a club-record fee, Spurs remain in the market for additional firepower.
Boniface has impressed in both the Bundesliga and Europa League this season, earning praise for his physical presence, goal-scoring ability, and technical quality. With Xabi Alonso expected to depart Bayer Leverkusen at the end of the campaign, Spurs see an opportunity to swoop in for the Nigerian international.
With uncertainty surrounding the long-term future of club captain Heung-min Son, Tottenham view Boniface as perfect addition who could bring depth and competition to the forward line.
